MIKOLAJ HERTEL – composer, piano player.
Graduate od Academy of Music in Warsaw in piano class of Regina Smendzianka. Composer of music for theatre, particularly connected with Teresa Magda Wojcik’s Adekwatny Theatre.
Has also written music for cartoons. In the 80s Composed many songs for leading Polish performers. In the 90s one of distinguishing creators of electronic music /Sounds of sea, Romance/. For some years he has concentrated on accoustic instruments transferring his experiences from electronic music into the area of orchestra. Nevertheless the main means of Mikolaj Hertel’s artistic expression remains the piano. Member of Zaiks.
